It has been quite a while, huh?  I've thought about writing just as much as I've thought about putting up real work.  I suppose at the end of the day, it's a matter of need, and it seems tonight was the night I needed to finally say a little. The last week has been somewhat dramatic for me.  Not in the sense of being surrounded by drama or any other number of 'woe-be-to-myself-and-those-around-me' kinds of things, but in its content. Almost  a month to the day.  Not that it matters - I think it actually makes me one of the more frequent updaters I'm aware of (who isn't spamming entries trying to sell something). In any case, the sad part is I'm not sure I can even recount what's really happened over the last month.  Basically, I fought hard for the job, although I was still pretty sure I wouldn't get it.  My hopes all but died when two weeks ago my boss told us that he was hiring the other guy for a 2-month temp term at the end of the month (exactly when my temp position finished).  I took it to heart and did start looking around for other options, although I don't know
